
SEN Art Therapist Oxford
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Art Therapist to support children with Autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges in a nurturing Oxford-based school. This is an opportunity to design and deliver 1:1 and small-group therapy sessions that promote emotional healing, self-expression, and social growth through creative practice.
What you’ll be doing
Deliver tailored art therapy sessions to 4 primary-aged children
Create personalised, therapeutic lesson plans aligned with school goals
Track progress and adapt approaches to individual needs
Build strong, supportive relationships with students
Communicate regularly with staff and stakeholders
What we’re looking for
HCPC-registered Art Therapy qualification
Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
A clear DBS and legal right to work in the UK
