SEN Art Therapist Oxford

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Art Therapist to support children with Autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges in a nurturing Oxford-based school. This is an opportunity to design and deliver 1:1 and small-group therapy sessions that promote emotional healing, self-expression, and social growth through creative practice.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver tailored art therapy sessions to 4 primary-aged children

  • Create personalised, therapeutic lesson plans aligned with school goals

  • Track progress and adapt approaches to individual needs

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students

  • Communicate regularly with staff and stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • HCPC-registered Art Therapy qualification

  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH)

  • Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills

  • A clear DBS and legal right to work in the UK
